A brilliant way to build a car for the road or track which has amazing performance, even without any forced induction, (which is available for serious power). This is because the CAD drawn, laser cut round tube chassis gives amazing handling. The car weighs half that of the donor vehicle so braking, cornering and performance make it a match on the track for vehicles costing many thousands of pounds more.
Maintenance is easy, the build is straightforward, parts are easy to obtain due to the popularity of the donor vehicle.
Because of the individual nature of the car, a lot of options are available.
Roadster: Standard chassis with rear roll hoop and rear stays.
Track Version: Full roll cage in ROPT510 tubing, with side impact bars.
Front inboard push rod suspension available as an option on both chassis
Engines: mazda mk1 or later mk3 (standard kit is mk1 or mk2)
Gm ls1 v8 (special chassis)
Duratec, zetec, rover v8 etc.
Engine shown is in our demonstrator it is a 1600 MK1 engine with T25 turbo, intercooler, RX8 injectors, Canems ECU and electronic boost control 225bhp giving a power to weight ratio of 400bhp per tonne.
Under development for the Roadster version is a windscreen , roof and a detachable roll cage.
